2025 Rawspeed Rnd 3 - Wrap Up

Round 3 wrap up held at Batemans Bay Radio Control Car Club 20 Members of the Canberra Off Road Model Car Club travelled to Batemans Bay over the weekend to compete in Round 3 of the Raw Speed Australia Series, hosted by the Batemans Bay Radio Control Club at the Hanging Rock Complex. The event featured competitive racing across the 1:8th Electric Buggy and 1:8th Nitro Buggy classes, with drivers from across the region showcasing impressive skill and consistency on a well-prepared off-road track.


We were able to achieve 4 Members qualifying through to the 1/8 Electric A-main final, and 2 members qualifying through to the A-Main 1/8 Nitro buggy final. In both the finals we had two members finish on the podium.


Congratulations to Jimmy Horne for finishing in second place in the 1/8 Electric buggy group and Felix Koegler finishing in third place in the 1/8 Nitro buggy group.
