2025 Rudi Wensing Memorial Clay Cup 15 - 16 November

 

In March 2022 we lost one of our lifetime members, Rudi Wensing. Rudi was the backbone of our club and was loved by all that met him. There isn’t a single part of the facility untouched by his enormous efforts to ensure we always had a first-class venue - all for his love of the hobby. It’s never going to be the same without him at the track, but his memory will live on every time we walk up the stairs to The Rudi Wensing Drivers Stand. Rest In Peace Rudi.

 

We will be making a $5 donation as part of each entry, with all money collected will be donated to the Lung Foundation Australia (https://lungfoundation.com.au/) in memory of Rudi.

 

Lung Disease is our nation’s second leading cause of death, with one in 3 Australians being affected during their lifetime. Lung Disease takes more Australian lives than dementia and diabetes.

Tire Information

The event will be a controlled tire event using Promotion Viper (T2 Compound) wheels & tires. 

Tire & wheels can be pre ordered via the online Tire Preorder Form for $70 per set (4) or $130 for 2 sets. Tires can also be purchased at the track for $75 per set. Maximum 2 sets per class entered.

  Note: Truggy Open must have 10 paid entries by 9th November and Juniors class (EP Buggy) must have 5 Paid entries by 2nd of November. 

 

Entries

To enter the event, you must register online by pressing the "Enter Event" button below. Entries Close 5pm Thursday 13th November

 

Entry Fees

Entry fee is $40 for the first class. Second class entry is $20.

Refunds

If the event is cancelled due to weather, entry fees are not refundable.

Payment

​All Payments are due by Thursday 20th November. A late fee of $30 will apply for any late payments. Payments can be made via credit card after submitting your entry or by bank transfer.

Schedule

Saturday: Gates Open 8:00am, Controlled practice from 9am. Note if required a qualifying round may be run on Saturday afternoon.

 

Sunday: Qualifying, Finals – Gate Open at 7am, drivers briefing 7:30am, racing from 8am Exact times may vary. Schedule is dependent on numbers/entrants

 

Canteen

The canteen will be running with all the usual fantastic food

Camping is allowed at the track on the Friday/Saturday night. Nearby hotels include: Abode Narrabundah - Best Western Plus Garden City Hotel.
