CORMCC 2023 Rudi Wensing Memorial Clay Cup

Canberra Off-Road Model Car Club are proud to announce the 2023 Rudi Wensing Memorial Clay Cup

In March 2022 we lost our one and only lifetime member, Rudi Wensing. Rudi was the backbone of our club and was loved by all that met him. There isn’t a single part of the facility untouched by his enormous efforts to ensure we always had a first-class venue - all for his love of the hobby. It’s never going to be the same without him at the track, but his memory will live on every time we walk up the stairs to The Rudi Wensing Drivers Stand.

Rest In Peace Rudi.

We will be making a $5 donation as part of each entry, with all money collected will be donated to the Lung Foundation Australia (https://lungfoundation.com.au/) in memory of Rudi.

Lung Disease is our nation’s second leading cause of death, with one in 3 Australians being affected during their lifetime. Lung Disease takes more Australian lives than dementia and diabetes.

  This is an open tyre event for both GP and EP Buggy

  Truggy Open 

  Beginners/Juniors class (EP Buggy only)

Note: Truggy must have 8 paid drivers when entries close on the 27th Sep and 8 Truggy's at the beginning of qualifying for the class to run. 

***ENTRIES***

  To enter the event, you must register via our google form. If you wish to enter multiple classes, please submit a registration for each class.

 Entries Close 5pm Wednesday 27th September

***PAYMENTS***

  Entry fee is $35 for the first class

  Each additional class is $25

 All Payments are due by Wednesday 27th September. A late fee of $30 will apply for any late payments

***SCHEDULE***

 Saturday: Gates Open 8:00am, Controlled practice from 9am. Note if required a qualifying round may be run on Saturday afternoon.

 Sunday: Qualifying, Finals – Gate Open at 7am, drivers briefing 7:30am, racing from 8am

 Exact times may vary. Schedule is dependent on numbers/entrants

***CANTEEN***

  The canteen will be running with all the usual fantastic food

***ACCOMODATION***

  Camping is allowed at the track on the Friday/Saturday night or nearby hotels include:
