CORMCC 2022 Rudi Wensing Memorial, 6Mik Clay Cup

Canberra Off-Road Model Car Club are proud to announce the 2022 Rudi Wensing Memorial, 6Mik Clay Cup thanks to Campbelltown Hobbies,

In March this year we lost our one and only lifetime member, Rudi Wending.

Rudi was the backbone of our club and was loved by all that met him. There isn’t a single part of the facility untouched by his enormous efforts to ensure we always had a first-class venue - all for his love of the hobby.

It’s never going to be the same without him at the track, but his memory will live on every time we walk up the stairs to The Rudi Wensing Drivers Stand.

Rest In Peace Rudi.

We are kindly asking drivers to opt-in to a small $5 donation as part of their entry with all money collected will be donated to the Lung Foundation Australia (https://lungfoundation.com.au/) in memory of Rudi.

Lung Disease is our nation’s second leading cause of death, with one in 3 Australians being affected during their lifetime. Lung Disease takes more Australian lives than dementia and diabetes.  

***Tyre Information***

  This is a controlled tyre event for both GP and EP Buggy, and the choice of tyre is 6Mik Scratch(9/22), sold as a set   available as either pre-mounted or un-glued. 6Mik rims MUST be used.

  6Mik Scratch(9/22) will be available at the track for $70 per set of 4 tyres glued/unglued or you can source them   elsewhere.

 **Note** - 6Mik rims must be used, control tyres glued onto rims of a different brand is not permitted

  EP Buggy

  Truggy Open 

  Beginners/Juniors class (EP Buggy only)

Note: Truggy must have 8 paid drivers when entries close on the 7th Dec and 8 Truggy's at the beginning of qualifying for the class to run. For Truggy you can run the tyre/rim of your choice.

***ENTRIES***

  To enter the event, you must register via our website. If you wish to enter multiple classes, please submit a registration         for each class.

 Entries Close 5pm Wednesday 7th December

***PAYMENTS***

  Entry fee is $30 for the first class

  Each additional class is $20

 All Payments are due by Wednesday 7th December. A late fee of $30 will apply for any late payments

***SCHEDULE***

 Saturday: Gates Open 8:00am, Open practice and 9am-12noon, Qualifying from 1pm  

 Sunday: Qualifying, Finals – Gate Open at 7am, drivers briefing 7:30am, racing from 8am

 Exact times may vary. Schedule is dependent on numbers/entrants

***CANTEEN***

  The canteen will be running with all the usual fantastic food

***ACCOMODATION***

  Camping is allowed at the track on the Friday/Saturday night or nearby hotels include:
