Maintenance Days - This Weekend 30/31

This weekend CORMCC will be having a Maintenance Day on both staurday and sunday.

There is a lot of work to be done, it would be appreciated if all members could come and lend a hand.

The items in argueable particular order:

Track Crew

  • Remove the black pipe from the sections of the track that will be crossed under the new layout.
  • Remove the black pipe from each side of the double double jump in the middle of the track.
  • Remove the black pipe from the OUTSIDE of the existing S section, from th end of the table top to the start of the straight.
  • Remove the domes from the S section.
  • Remove the grass and debris where the new track will run.
  • Level all the areas where the track will run.
  • Extend the table top with a smooth downhill ramp into the S section.
  • Build a small mound (gradual up to 30cm high x 1 metre long)  in the first cichance before the tripple tripple.
  • Re-Face both of the Triple Triple jumps and landings.
  • Extend the middle table top corner so it gradually lowers into the new s section (over the distance of 4 metres or so.
  • Clear, mark out, level and pipe the new designed S section.
  • Build the newly proposed single > tabletop > tabletop jump > landing before corner where the current double double is.
  • Fix the first double on the front straight.
  • Build the step up or whatever we agreed on up the back.
  • Repair the top sweeper corner.
  • Use the massive steel thing to level the straight sections.
  • Lay all the pipe in the new sections and level the entire track mint for rolling.
Surrounds Crew

  • Remove as much as possible the tree in the middle of the proposed new car park.
  • Install the fence along the track surrounds.
  • Install the 1/2 height fence along the spectator area.
  • Install new power points, computer, wireless router, monitor cable and printer.
